Tagged Rugby League is a mixed, social version of Tag Rugby League being delivered across a number of universities in London and the South East. 

Tagged has been developed by the London Rugby League Foundation in partnership with the RFL to engage a new audience of participants who may otherwise not have played Rugby League. 

Tagged is really easy to learn with simple rules which have been designed to encourage mixed participation, especially amongst those students who tend not to engage in regular sport. Tagged is an activator led programme and we will work with each partner institute to recruit and train up to four student activators. 

Below are some of the highlights from the first year of the project; 

• Tagged has Engaged over 800 students across 11 universities.
• 53% of participants are female
• 36 student volunteer activators have been trained to deliver Tagged.
• 78% of participants have reported being more physically active since joining Tagged.
